Civilian Testing
The Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) is administered every Wednesday at 8:30 AM at the Education Center. We recommend that examinees arrive at least 15 min. prior to the exam start time.
Pearson Vue exam are administered weekly every Monday, except government holidays, but in such incident we will offer the exam the Friday of that week. The Education Center for Pearson Vue exam is available to those who has access to MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, to schedule an exam follow the link to the Pearson Vue Military portal.

DANTES REIMBURSEMENT
Effective June 30th, 2021 DANTES will no long reimburse all admission examinations.
DANTES reimburses eligible Service members the test administration fee (only) for the following exams when meeting a Service or education requirement when administered at National or International Test Centers.

Military testing occurs weekly every Tuesday and Thursday.
AFCT/ASVAB
AFCT/ASVAB exam is administered weekly every Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
- AFCT/ASVAB Template (Editable)This is the template letter and information needed to retake the ASVAB, which has a different name once a service member is on active duty. The Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT), requires a battalion commanding officer approval to take the exam.
- AFCT Waiver RequestAfter three months, you could submit this waiver request if you did not receive the score you were aiming for on the AFCT. Please have it signed by your battalion CO, and attach a valid copy of the latest scores stamped, certifying it is a true copy.
DLAB
DLAB exam are administered weekly Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
DLPT
DLPT exam are administered weekly Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

The EBSCO LearningExpress DoD Test Prep supports active military, military families, national guard and reserve personnel, and military affiliated civilians and retirees, providing access to educational resources that foster academic advancement, and strengthen job and career readiness. Access a variety of eLearning centers with related grouped content, such as helpful academic resources for every family member from elementary school through college-level skills. Core academic, computer and workplace preparation skills are incorporated to help service members and their families achieve personal goals in school, life and career.

Cost: The first attempt of all exams is free for service members. The price per exam is $80 for retake and civilians; if a tester is not a National University student and not a service member, an additional $20 proctoring fee applies.

CLEP and DSST exams can be proctored remotely or locally at National University in the Education Center using the computers in their examination lab.
